We try to make the program as turnkey as possible:
Step one: Fill out the website form below to request a PAC Drive event date.
Step two: Once a date is agreed upon, download the promotional materials from our web page and customize what you need for your organization. Bulletin announcement copy, fliers and visual elements are available for you to publish in your church bulletin or organization newsletter. We recommend promoting the event at least three weeks prior to the distribution date.
Step three: Secure volunteers to help with the event. Responsibilities include table set-up, distributing envelopes, collecting / securing donations, and disassembly of display at the end of the event. As an alternative to envelope distribution, a parish may decide to take up a second collection for PAC and other respect life ministerial needs.
Step four: Download the pulpit talks from our website and prepare to deliver during the event as approved by the pastor or administrator. Many parishes choose to announce the event at the beginning of mass, while also communicating a longer testimony at the end of the service. A PAC representative may be available to deliver the talk, or you or your respect life team can do it! Sharing the story of a life-saved, a woman spared from trauma or a family strengthened resonates with people and tends to draw them to the cause.
Step five: Distribute envelopes and share information. On the day of the event, volunteers will distribute envelopes to your constituency for them to return with their PAC donation the following week. Collections can also be taken on distribution day. Informational brochures are also available for your constituency detailing our clinic services, success stories and tactics to help care for families including the unborn.
Step six: After envelopes are distributed to your constituency, plan a follow-up event or weekend to collect envelopes. Place baskets at a convenient location such as the church Narthax where people can drop off their donation. Make sure the basket and donations are monitored constantly and secured at the end of the day.
Step seven: Once donations are secured, either through envelope distribution or a second collection, coordinate the donation drop off or pick up with your PAC representative. Table display supplies will be returned at this time as well.
Step eight: Thank your community and keep the conversation going! PAC will send a certificate of thanks and a letter to your representative confirming the total contribution to Pregnancy Aid Clinic and our work to protect life. We encourage you to share this information with your constituency. A follow-up engagement may be scheduled for your group to tour one of the clinics, or for a PAC staff member to speak to your ministry or group about how they can continue to serve and protect life. This can happen virtually or in person.
